Hi

When I watch ITV4 it plays for about 10s then crashes PVRX2 with an exception. I'm then left with the recording service thinking ITV4 is being watch - as is the case whenever any crash occurs.

I can watch other channels fine and this is only when watching from the satellite - I guess the signal is not so good (as somethimes I get the signal strength dialog at the same time) but it shouldn't bomb out.

For now I've disabled ITV4 on the satellite so it's not critical.

cheers

Keith

I am not sure why this is happening but it seems to be all the sat channels.

Here is a pic of what it looks like - I moved the dialog to see the rest of the message but as it has crashed then it's not updating.

I've attached the latest set of logs.

Thanks

Keith

Is a dmp file created in c:\windows\minidump when this occurs?

no - I don't have this directory. I do have debugging info set for small memory dump to this directory but none is created.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what to suggest.

I use DVB-S here, and havnt seen an error like this.

It seems to play perfect for about 15s then generate the error.

It plays perfectly in the config tool and worked ok in 1.1.5.
I installed the latest version and from then on it seems to fail. The other DVB-T cards work fine, it's only the DVB-S.

Its a nova-S card.

Is there anything that may have not happened correctly when I installed the latest version?

I cant think of anything, and the logs look fine. I assume you've tried different audio/video decoder combinations in case one of these is causing the problem?

I've now tried them all and they all fail, varying time to failure but the signal strength box comes up each time - but it arrives after the application error dialog. (Must be a different thread).

If you set <BDAUsePsiParser>false</BDAUsePsiParser> in config.xml, does the problem go away?
