Mute your volume on a schedule

Many of you may have seen this, but this is a good article if you want to mute your PC/Server's speakers on a schedule, like when your wife wants to sleep.

Yea... but then when you have it recording your movie you want to watch at 2AM it won't work and the wife gets mad. She wants it all. Sleep while it records and a quiet computer.

Actually, I get around all that by having all the noisy stuff in "The Facility" (or attic as it is sometimes known) and doing all the viewing via MVPs... Smile

I noticed there was some demand for a windows utility that does this, so I made one myself. Very simple, but it gets the job done.

that's why we have such fine products like ohropax (earplugs)... helps with recordings, helps with the lumber mill sleeping beside her Big Grin

yeah, i also use the server (it still has fans... Sad

) as the primary playback client in the living room, now if she could another solution for the lumber mill beside her...
