a white box with a big cross will appeared and a error on handler ..... will appear. Up to now I still not able to resolve the PVRX2 issue. I am still using the GBPVR.exe but each time when I start the pc and go straight to TV the "Reference Object not set to instant of object" page will appear. If I quit the GBPVR.exe and relaunch again then everything is back to normal again. Is there something I have to change on config.xls?

I can see something funny about the way the plugins are being loaded in your pvrx2.exe.log. I'd be interested to see if temporarily emptying your plugins directory would allow PVRX.exe to start correctly.

I'm more interested PVRX2.exe. GBPVR.exe has reached the end of its life and will no longer be included with the application install.

I started getting those errors here and there after for some reason getting a video card driver error one day. Reinstalled the video card drivers.

I again got a few errors like that after installing the newest GBPVR version when the install errored towards the end but looked like it worked fine anyway. But it didn't work fine. After deleting it and getting an error-free install, haven't seen a white-box handling error since.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

Hi Sub,

I don't have any plugin in my setting. I would appreciate it if you could tell me the GBPVR.exe what could the possible cause of "Reference Object not set to instant of object" dialog box. This only happen when I turn on the PC for the first time and go in TV mode (the other mode ok) on the GBPVR.exe. If I exit and relaunch GBPVR.exe and goto the TV mode the problem doesnt appear again. Thanks.

To be honest, I'm not really sure.

I see your logs indicate you're still using 1.1.5. Have you tried 1.2.9 to see if the proble, goes away?

Hi sub,

I think I got the GBPVR.exe having a "Reference Object not set to instant of object" when I first turned on the PC and go directly into TV mode resolved. I have taken out the -UpdateEPG from my shortcut at the startup folder and it helps. Will this make my GBPVR not able to do reoccuring recording? Will monitor further. As for the PVRX2.exe version 1.0.29 didn't help me to resolve the white screen error problem (see attached) but I have noticed the error only comes out when I hit the shortcut key on the remote (TV, Videos, Picture and Music). I think this has something to do with the key setup file. You have any suggestion?

Just do what everyone else does and let the app do its automatic EPG update at the time specified in the config app.

Can you post the logs that are generated by the app to go with that screenshot you posted above?

Pls see the attached log. Also bear in mind the only way to kill this dialog box is using task manager to stop PVRX2.exe running. Thanks.
