- every lookup now uses threads, so MVP shouldnt have any timeouts.
- can now play a file from the actors movie list, either by using the "play" button or going into the info screen and hitting play
- pin numbers work in actors movie list
- can press left/right to navigate thru actors movies list in the info screen.
- sort by and view buttons add (also remove actor, but doesnt do anything yet).
- now shows how many movies/tv episode they are actually in and are online (so if you have 21 episode of enterprise, scott bakula will say hes in 21 movies, and not 1).
- uses threads to download the gallery images aswell (will display text "downloading image ..." when downloading, there is an ocassional webtimeout, which will take about 30 seconds for it to allow you to download another image (i ran into it about 3 times for about 500 pics).
-can configure which buttons to show and their order in the actors info screen via the config form (i havent tested this, pretty much just copied and pasted code from the normal menu, so should work).
- uses "NoActorImageFound" composite image for missing headshots now, and not the "NoPosterImage" anymore.
- IMDB Desc and Amazon Poster added to the "Scan" Menu (havent tested this either).

fixed
- the first show of a group of shows (eg enterprise 1x01.avi) is now added to the movie list group (it use to always start from the second show).
- err some other bugs.

to do
- remember actors views (there filelist view, eg "big icons" for each show etc)
- remove actor
- help screen??? (still not sure if ill do this).
- it ignores the "info on ok" checkbox set in the config for actors, it always just goes to the info screen.
- filmography (not sure about this either).

install notes
- nothing needs to be configured
- nothing changed in database.
- skin.xml files have changed

other stuff
- i moved the actor infoscreen menu up, to match the rest of "my videos" and moved the actor headshot under the menu for the ME skin and removed it for the blue skin (it didnt fit, ill have to reduce the gap between the buttons).
- this version is pretty much the final version, so it should be stable enough for most people to test

ps can a few MVP users test the lookups and see if they are getting any timeouts, if so where (eg after clicking done on onscreenkeyboard, hitting ok on a show with no db entry, hitting the red button, via the scan menu) and what type of lookup (eg tvtome, amazon, imdb etc).

nothing is planned for my pics, im waiting for sub to add a method before i do anything to my music, but its low priority. my videos should be done by the end of the week, most of the skinning stuff has been figured out thou, so you can start skinning this version.

Everthing works well so far, have not tested on the mvp yet. Good job.. the seperation of the pics and info download seems to also improved the speed..

works good all around..I am glad you decided the put in the remove actor thanks..even though it doesn't do anything yet..Looking forword to it..All i can say is great job..Props to be the best plugger on the board.

ok heres pretty much the final version, unless there are any bugs found.

added
- remembers directory view for the actors movie list and actors list
- remembers view for the actors list (so if want to sort by movie count).
- can delete via the "Remove Actor" button in the actors info screen (message box asks if you are sure)
- can delete an actor via the "Actors" screen by pressing the "Red" button on a actor (message box asks if you are sure)

things i decided not to do
- help screen (ill perhaps do this later, or throw it in the "settings" part when that is up and running)

- think up a better name than "Movie Count" (anyone got any suggestions?).

uses the same skin as in v2.1.99.3xx (whatever the number was). run the config and check the button, that probably will fix it (the buttons are taken from the skin.xml anymore).

yeah this ones pretty stable, memory usage is higher than 2.1.10.0, but a lot better than the first 2.1.99.x version (most things are disposed when not needed etc).
