I only really use gbpvr as a jukebox sending to an MVP connected to a surround sound system

I often leave the system running on random mode for days at a time

just come in and turn on the amp and I have my own instant radio station

Martins mvpmc dongle makes the mvp utterly stable to do this sort of thing

I mean to have a look at mvpmc soon - I get an un-wanted reboot at least once a day...

Here's my mvpmc in the living room, I doubt it if ever will really need reboot (it's linux) but you might have to leave emulation mode.

My default playlist for jukebox mode with ML2 is now two days to get around the fact that it won't refresh on the PCH. Yes when I listen to music I can listen for a long time, probably one of the reasons I like the TV off.

Can you check which version of the skin you are running (it has the version number at the top of MLPanel.xml skin file) as I thought I had fixed that problem for view#7 with skin v0.1.1 & for the other views with skin v0.1.2

But you probably are not really creating a playlist of all those songs, you are just letting ML2 restart a random playlist at the end. I have to create longer one to let it play longer periods because it doesn't resend a new one to the PCH.

I used the standard Music Library for that and it does create the whole playlist (MLP shows 1/13492)

Do you have the later skins? If not lets blame Alex for not supplying them to you eh?

BTW we are up to skin ver 0.1.3 now so if you don't have it hassle Alex for it

I was definitely talking ML2, since going brute force through all my shares seems a bit extreme for a random playlist.

It may be extreme, but it works as designed, and it's a nice way to re-discover some of the stuff hidden in the depths of your library...

While not just set ML2 to auto start another playlist when current one finishes and press the red button to start a random one on "All All" no need to read your entire hard disk
