no video!

My system was working great and I messed up by adding another card to the mix, so I'm trying to get back to the beginning. Right now I have no video when I try to look at live tv. I've already tried to use the MVP Mpeg2DecFilter.ax It didn't work.I tried all the different settings on the playback tab. Nothing happening. WinTV works ok. I can see a picture. Can someone show me where I made a mistake? I would really appreciate it.

Try setting the deinterlacing setting (on the misc tab of the config app) back to the default 'encoder-passthrough'.

It worked! Made the change and 10 seconds later I had a picture!

Now I'm struggling with the digital side of the hvr-1800 and trying to get it to work with the pvr-150 , oh and also trying to get the MCE replacement to work with a comcast STB. These ir codes are so hard to figure out. So,
when I figure out the right question to ask, I'll be back!
