I trying to get the write speed of drives so I can populate a combobox. Driveinfo doesn't return this. Does anyone know how to get what speeds are supported by a specific drive via .net?

You might want to look at WMI - I think this is accessible through the System.Management assembly.
Not sure if it would be any use but the Win32_CDROMDrive WMI class has a TransferRate property - that's as close as I can get. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/...S.85).aspx Cheers, Brian
