Hi Sub,

would have been great to have got a stream to you uploaded tonight but now have some issues with my FTP server, LOL, not!

Thanks for your time, will try to sort out FTP in next couple of days as is quite strange that I seem to be only user of DVB-S Freesat in UK not receiving this channel, but we all seem to be struggling to get the full compliment.

Thanks for great proggie

Hi Sub,

seems I have a problem with my 'newish' router not playing ball. The firewall is so tight it falls over its own size 16 knickers. I've got 2 potential FTP servers running and I've tried them both, internally they work a treat, from the outside their chastity belts seem locked by the router.

Trying to work this one out as per thread here:

Can't do web server, seems like you can't FTP to me (because of above), could I FTP in to anyone else temporarily? Anyone? Please? Would love to get this sorted......

Cheers

Sorry, I dont have any large file upload facilities setup on the GB-PVR web site, and I'm not keen to add any (no time, and prefer to keep the firewall as tight as possible).

Sub,

exactly :p

Not trying to use GBPVR Website for large upload. As for Firewalls I'm my own worst enemy. Hence why I can't get my FTP service back up and running.

Hence my plea to anyone out in the community:

could I FTP in to anyone else temporarily? Anyone? Please?

Surely someone out there has a stable and secure FTP service?

If I'm asking too much give me a rude sign and I'll fall down and dribble alot, oh yes and shut up.
