YApi2XML Error: Schedule file corrupted or not found

My YApi2XML listings suddenly stopped working in late April. I assumed it was a temporary problem with the Yahoo service but it still isn't working almost a month later, and I don't see anyone else in the forums experiencing the problem.

The attached yapi2xml_log.txt file says that the schedule file is corrupted or not found. Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

I had the same problem, you can fix this problem by going to the yapi2xml folder and delete the following files.

Yapi2xml.xml
.ini
.zip

Then run the Yapi2xml.exe file to rebuild the files you just deleted.

I installed yapi2xml on my Vista box and can't get it to work. Getting the "Schedule file corrupted or not found" error. Since the "schedule.zip" file exists, and contains 240K of data, I know it is downloading, just not converting the zip to xml.

Anybody got any more suggestions? I have tried both versions 1.2.? and 1.1.9: same error.

mgriego007: I did the what you recommended and the download was successful, but the TV Guide was still empty. I just tried again after a few days and it's working now.

I am also facing same issue for few days now. I followed the instruction above to delete ini/zip files, but it is still not working. Anything else i can look at or how do i fix this? Are there any debug options that i can set to see what's going on ?

this is an ongoing problem and one you cannot fix. You simply need to keep trying at different times and eventually it will download fine. You can use zap2xml while you wait if you run out of guide data. yapi downloads 14 days worth of guide data.

just keep trying different hours.

I downloaded mine fine just now after trying a few times throughout the day

Mine is all set to download everyday at 2AM, and it hasn't successfully downloaded since June 3rd. I tried deleting the files suggested and retrying, All I get is this same error. Is anyone else having trouble with Yahoo?

Everytime I crack open the code to work on -oz-'s program, which he has released to the community, I've had problems with Yapi server errors. It has been so unreliable, that I have been not all that interested in working on it that much...

Schedules Direct is worth every penny, to avoid the headaches...
