1.2.13 MVP no Search Guide Text

Hmmmmm,

upgraded flawlessly to v 1.2.13 a couple of days ago. (This now applies to v 1.3.7)


Just noticed tonight that my MVP's won't take a text entry anymore when searching the Guide. Works fine on the GBPVR Server with keyboard but don't have working remote to test that with.

Using Community Skin 3 and Martin's dongle: dongle.mvpmc-20080405.bin

Humph! Didn't know if I should post this in support or MVP

I can't seem to make this do anything either with mvpmc or with mvpmcx2.

Does it work with the Hauppauge dongle?

If you don't post on the MVP/NMT forums I might only respond to posts showing on the main page or if I remember there is something elsewhere that interested me.

Not sure here, are you saying you have the same problem or that you can't replicate my one?

Good point, thing is I hate messing with my dongles! Also have only used Hauppauge Dongle for first boot up's. Have never explored it, why would I when I've got PVRX2 and your dongle

It is the same with the Hauppauge dongle - no text entry. Boo.

I know sub made one change to the MVP search facility and it is possible that has affected this.

NMT keyboard support is enabled, but remote support is still not working AFAIK,
