Digital channels won't show in PVRX2, only in config

Mine was a clean install as I did a total reformat and reinstalled everything from scratch. Still stumped by it. I will continue playing with it and follow up if I get it working.

I've now done a clean install (uninstalled app, removed gbpvr directory), and I still have the problem. When I choose a digital channel from the tv guide and click 'watch', I get a blank screen.

Interesting note: If an adjacent channel is also digital, I can channel up/down to that channel, and then it tunes fine. I can then channel up/down back to the original channel, and it then tunes also. However, this does not work if the adjacent channel is analog.

I just tried a scheduled recording of a digital channel, and it worked fine.

So it is just the live tv that is having the problem. Also, while the blank screen is displayed, if I click pause (which starts recording), then it starts working.

I was thinking of going back to 1.2.9, but since the recording is working and I have a couple of work-arounds for live tv, I think I'll stick with 1.2.13.

This software is still amazing.

Try changing your MPEG2 decoders in Config ("Playback" tab).

It's working now. In config under misc, I un-checked "Use Live Preview mode if possible".

What is Live Preview Mode? I don't notice anything different, except that the digital channels now work fine.

Nevermind. I just realized that disabling preview mode means that it always records. I already knew it worked when recording. I'd like preview mode to work, though.

I'm playing around with mpeg decoder selections now, but no luck so far.

No, I have not found a solution. I'm still using the workarounds I found (ch +/- or pause).
