Yes I had downloaded VB6 runtime files directly from Microsoft. I also have now tried this;
If youâve installed this and are still getting errors on startup extract all the files from this zip file (Download:vb6_files.zip (1189 downloads)) to C:\Windows\System32 and then run the register_vb6.bat file.
It seemed like these files were older than what was on my computer but I installed them anyway. Still getting same error (did reboot)
