Ok, so when I open GB-PVR to the TV Guide, my CPU levels are at 0-5%, but when I select to watch a channel, the CPU levels go straight up to 100%! This makes watching the TV program unbearable!

If you could help I would be very thankful.

Thanks so much!

This shouldn't happen unless you're trying to watch HD channels or using a software decoding tuner.

What is your CPU like if play back something already recorded? Also video card, driver and mpeg decoder can have a big effect.

So, you are actually getting audio & video when you open Live TV (even stuttering)

At least that rules out Codecs. I would go with the HD thing which gazoo raised - the new Sat HD transmissions just started in Britain didn't they?

What video card do you have in your machine?

If you check your pvrx2-native.log then it will show what audio / video decoders / filters are being used to try to play that file, which will give some indication as to the codecs.

Reproduce the problem then post your pvr2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Ok,

I cant attach it to the message as im not by that machine at the moment.

It is a ATI Radeon 9550, even though it is low end it shouldn't do that. It only seems to do it when I use dual-screen, im not sure how to mirror the screens so i have extended desktop enabled.

And by the way, its just normal standard definition TV.

Attach logs as requested by the author in post nr 6. If unsure how, checkout the sticky in the support thread.

You'll need to post those logs I asked for.
