The other problem was that the mdapi doesn't work well with the nova-t-500 for some reason. It decrypted stuff, but only like one frame every 20 seconds, if at all. I haven't heard of that problem being fixed. No one would be happier than me if it is fixed, though
.I got rid of the T-500 and instead got a terratec 2400, also a dual tuner but with pci-x (freeing my pci slots for other stuff). That one unfortunaltely also has problems with mdapi. It works perfectly about 50% of the time, but sometimes it just gets unbearably choppy. So I have disabled all the encrypted channels for that tuner card and using another tuner card, a Twinhan for the encrypted channels.
I would love to get the Terratec to work fully with mdapi too.
