Is it possible to hide the file extension when browsing in Video Library? Its kind of annoying to have a file called "Fantastic Four.avi" show up exactly like that, it would be much nicer if it showed up as just "Fantastic Four".

Also the same in the Music Library -- if GBPVR can't find ID3 tags I know it shows the filename but it would be nice if it dropped the ".mp3" (as an option, perhaps?).

Im new to GBPVR but have tried other HTPC softwear and GBPVR is the only one I can recall that does this, it would be nice to get rid of it and I think it would tidy the whole program up, which BTW is a very nice program all ready.

Bump the thread in a week or so (when I'm back in NZ) and I'll try to make this change.

You could also just import your recordings using vidImport or mpegImport then you wouldn't see the extension, you would see the recording on the recordings tab and you would get an IMDB description if it existed.
