Hello new user here. Unzipped, installed vb6 runtime. After entering zip (32837) and clicking Get Providers I also get a runtime error 9 - Subscript out of range. Last entry in the log says: "14:26:50 - content Providers Found"

Perhaps Yahoo changed something on their side?

Dead in the water here, any help would be much appreciated.

Same here. Been using Yapi2xml for quite a while (or is it 'awhile'?) without many probs (except when yahoo doesn't have the file ready). For most of the week, the downloaded schedule.zip only contained about half the channels. Yesterday it had them all. Today I'm getting runtime 13 when auto-updating and runtime 9 when I enter zip code and manually try. Probably error on Yahoo end. Will have to wait and see what someone comes up with. I feel your pain, though Smile

yes that is exactly the same here on two computers with nothing added or changed...

looks like the source code rerlease is te demon of it all Sad

let;e hope it is really just a temp problem as i was pleased wth the yapi guide

the zap2it guide alternative has no actor names and such so it makes picking a movie challenging so I hope yapi can work it out

Now I was able to get the providers channel lineup, but the listing downloads fail all 5 attempts. I guess Yahoo is making progress, but not quite there yet?

markbb1 Wrote:My mistake about the size of the zip file, it is only 242k. When I convert it using my PERL script it expands to 2.5M. Note that for my lineup, the zip file IS complete at 242k (there are only 13 channels in the entire lineup). What other pieces is Yapi2xml waiting for?
There is sometimes an issue with the data file where the last line will not contain all the fields.

I just put the guide in pvrx2 and it has no data so I dunno

I used I-xmltv.exe to enhance the guide so i will try it with the unmodified one to see what is going on

I can't reboot since i'm recording something so who knows

Most likely a duplicate channel issue.

what a bonehead I am.....

once yapi was finished I grabbed the file from the first open directory on my desktop and not realizing I am grabbing an old xml from last week :p So after enhancing the file I never thought anything about it

i went to the correct directory just now and found the correct yapi file and have no problems.

I have the latest 12 day guide with all the goodies...

thanks Yahoo and Yapi!!

Good for another 12 days yeehaw!!

I pasted the extracted text file into Excel and the last line contains all the fields that the rest of the lines of the file contain, and appear to be correct data. I made the top row of my Excel file the fields from the API (posted somewhere in this forum, can't remember where).

Thanks for the tip. It gave me someplace to look. Any other suggestions?
