it seems the YUV Mixing mode isn't being turned on before the graph is connected, thereby not gaining a considerable hardware boost available with this option..
i have VMRPreferYUVMixing set to true in config..
using ffdshow tray menu, i looked at the filter while it was running and mixing mode wasn't turned on...
[it has to be turned on before even connecting it up, it warns with msg if you use graphedit]
i have made graphs that work with it on and it seems to work wonders..
i believe that's why mediaplayer classic works so well and different than gbpvr sometimes...
any thoughts on how to turn it on?
