Yes, should be. If its not, then I'll provide a fix.

I have no idea. I know next to nothing about dvico devices.

HVR-2250 has a Built-in antenna splitter for Dual Tuner for all one tuner which support NTSC/ATSC/QAM unlike the HVR-1800.

That's what we are noticing, which means that you can't have one tuner for QAM and one for OTA.

Good point. Although, I currently use two HVR-1600 tuner cards, with the two digital sides connected to an antenna, and the two analog sides connected to QAM. I could do the same thing with two HVR-2250's, one card dedicated to OTA and the other dedicated to Cable, but the cable one would theoretically let me tune both QAM and analog?

I wonder if QAM and analog can be tuned at the same time on a single HVR-2250?

Just to be sure here a list of HVR-2250 Question I be ask them

1: The Dual Tuner is all one tuner support NTSC/ATSC/QAM?
2: I take that there a Built-in antenna splitter for Dual Tuner?
3: The Built-in FM is it also a Dual Tuner?
4: That S/Video / Compostite is it also the Audio input I take it that it the same cable like on the old PVR-350 for the Hardware Decoder output had or is a breakout box like what ATI did with there Theater 550/650 cards?, if not where the Audio input at.
5: The Remote Control Receiver input dose this also service as the IR Blaster output?.
6: Is the IR Blaster dual output?.
7: That the deal with that onboard Media Center IR Blaster (option)?.
8: Is there any way Diplexer or Multiplexes or some kind Combiner for both Cable and Antenna in to one cable line being there only tuner one input.

Any thing you like me ask them posted here

SHS

- Can they confirm that the FM signal is isolated from QAM? I receive QAM on to channels at 91 and 97 Mhz

I still am thinking that the prototype picture is wrong though.

You can eliminate question 8. Cable and OTA share a lot of frequencies so you can't use a combiner/splitter like you can with Cable/Sat or OTA/Sat. I had looked at trying it with the HDHomeRun a long time ago.

Martin I'm not sure on this but Frequency Modulation "FM" falls within the VHF part of the radio spectrum which not uncommon for reg a analog TV Tuner to pickup Radio signal but when it come digital signal that diff matter and it most like will not see it a QAM if the Mhz do match.

Price on this tuner has gone from $129 to $149 now. Almost wish I had jumped on it.
