I am trying to upgrade to from 1.1.5 to 1.2.13 and I am getting this error at the end of the install and I am not able to open config.exe. I really do not want to do a fresh install.

Help Please.

It looks like you're missing some files, or have an older version of one of the DLLs. A reinstall is probably the best course of action.

Do you just try again to install it, or start fresh?

It probably wont let you install it again over the top. You'd probably need to uninstall and reinstall it. You can backup your config.xml and gbpvr.db3 files to try reapplying them after reinstalling though.

I did uninstall and reinstall, it worked fine. It also kept all my settings. Great work man.

By the way, overlay in old interface works twice as good as the new interface. FSE for new interface seems to work best for me with CPU requirements slightly more than overlay in the old interface. I use an HD clip with a lot of motion to test.

Great

To be honest I cant think of a single reason you'd see any difference. Its just using all the same old code. The video decoder and video renderer are responsible for everything that gets displayed on the screen, so assuming you're using the same video decoder then you should get identical results with Overlay under both GBPVR.exe and PVRX2.exe.
