Hi.

I tried to view live tv and received the "No tuner available" error message. There is nothing else using the tuner...

I only have one tuner configured. It is a Hauppauge USB2 PVR2.

Only settings changed from the default on this install of GBPVR:
- I added the tuner
- I added 4 channels
- I added a video directory
- Everything else is the default

Any ideas?

Can you reproduce the problem on your PC, not MVP, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log files?

Sorry, I can't. GBPVR doesn't support any display modes that my OS will allow. I am running Windows Server 2003 and log into the server using Radmin. Unfortunately Radmin doesn't send the Overlays (which do work) either.

Are the logs not useful otherwise?

It wasnt a complete set of logs. Only the first MVP server produces logs. Set the number of MVP servers back to 1, then reproduce the problem and repost the logs and I'll take a look.

Hello again sub.

Several months later and I've got some more logs for you. I've had the same thing happen more and more often now with only 1 MVP enabled and everything else at default settings (except for one USB haupauge tuner and 4 configured channels).

I have attached the logs for all four instances.

Let me know if you need any more info!

Did you do this on the PC on MVP, and were the logs zipped immediately after the problem occurred? You've posted a logs, but I cant seem to see any to see any attempt to schedule recording in those MVP logs.

Hi Sub,

These logs were copied right after the problem was noticed. I then rebooted the computer or restart service to attempt to fix it.

These were all done on an MVP by selecting Live TV from the GBPVR. There was no scheduling of recordings. The "No Tuner Available" appears on the MVP screen in a small dialog.

Thanks.

I found some useful info in the logs. It looks like the WinTV PVR USB2 tuner had "gone missing" from your machine when it attempted to use it for live tv. It'd be interesting to see if WinTV can use the tuner when next happens. I seem to remember a couple of other users having had problems like this in the distant past with the PVR USB2. (I'd make sure you have the latest PVR USB2 drivers installed just in case)
