Has anyone found this one yet?

If I keep hitting the back button/esc to the main menu, it closes the program on hit press. Can anyone duplicate?

The log seems to indicate the system was unable to automatically find a decoder for the specified AVI. I've been using FFDShow for decoding these types of AVI files.

You may also want to try playing the AVI off a local drive first, rather than the UNC path you have specified above.

I've installed the new release and have both good news and bad news.

First, the good news: live tv, timeshift and recording playback is almost flawless. No more stuttering now, which is huge! I love being able to timeshift now. (I did notice that video and sound got out of synch once this evening, but for the most part it worked great).

Also, the interface is more snappy. It responds more quickly to key presses on my remote, which is nice.

The bad news: OSD display doesn't really work anymore. When the mini-guide is activated the video blacks out while I'm looking at the guide. The same is true for changing channels... when the numbers display, the video disappears. Any suggestions?

Also, like everyone else my web server stopped working. I don't really want to do a clean install since I don't want to loose my recording database and channel guide. Anything I can do to enable the web server without blowing everything away?

That said, this is a nice new release sub! Thanks for all your hard work. I think I've decided to stick with GBPVR now after trying several others, and even though you don't require it, I'll be sending a donation your way before the week is out.

sub added
<ExitOnEsc>true</ExitOnEsc>
to the config.xml file, which allows you to exit gbpvr when you press escape (which is the back button). just change it to
<ExitOnEsc>false</ExitOnEsc>
if you dont want it to exit (thats what i did).
