Here is the issue that I'm having. If I unplug the PCH and plug it back in, I can start telnet and run gbpvr. When I am done watching, I use the power off button to exit gbpvr. If I turn everything off (harmony remote) and back on, gbpvr will not come back up. I get the "cannot make directory" message if I try to start telnet so I know it's still connected. When I click on gbpvr, the screen goes black and flickers a couple of times. After about 30 seconds, I get the "always back up your data screen" as if I pressed the power button on the remote. If I unplug the PCH and plug it back in, I'm back in business. What is that about

I wish they would fix this already!!!

Does this happen with your "custom" scripts and index.html or with the ones I support? I have never had success with ndex.html on a share.

In any case duplicate the problem and upload your GBPVR logs when this happens. Additionally if you could telnet to you NMT and issue the ps command (two letters) I would like to know what processes are running. If you see mvpmx2 make sure you wait 30 seconds before unplugging.

I am using the scripts that you support with a "custom" index.html instead of the telnet.html

I am going to use the telnet.html and see what happens. If I still have the problem, I will zip and send the log files.

Thanks

I rebooted my PCH and was still unable to get gbpvr to come up. First, I ran telnet and saw the connected on port 23 message. Then, I ran gbpvr and only got a black screen with a flicker in the beginning. After about 30 seconds, the message that says always back up your data appears (as if I pressed power off on the remote from gbpvr). I tried to get gbpvr to come up twice. I am using the files you support. Here are the logs.[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

You logs are entirely full of MovieWiz messages. If you remove this plugin temporarily, does it help with your ability to get to the GB-PVR from the PCH?

Untick the MovieWiz plugin and try again, it seems to be a bit out of control.

Edit: sub is unbelievable.

I will disable the plugin and report back.

I forgot about the telnet - ps

Maybe I will beat sub this time. It is not good seeing gaya earlier in the process list like that

Code:
1547 root 12616 S gaya
1832 root 1940 S /bin/sh
1847 root 1936 R ps

That is usually a sign the GBPVR.CGI script is not working.

I removed the MW plugin and was able to connect to gbpvr without any issues at all. JavaWiz was working on speeding up MW and I guess the PCH doesn't like it. It is working great on a PC client. I guess I can point JavaWiz to this post.

Thanks
