i rewrote the shutdown plugin to work with the PVRX2 gui. version 2.8 does _not_ work on the old GBPVR gui anymore.
PVRX2 does not support VideoPlugins at the moment, so the sleep timer cannot be invoked with the remote while watching Live TV, a recording or a DVD. It has to be started within plugins menu (by either hitting the Sleep button or the 'GO' key (F11) on your remote).

). in the old version you just removed/commented out the buttons in the skin.xml file. since the new skinning method (which is _much_ easier and less redudant) does not need this, i will have to put it into the config form of the plugin.
