this has happened twice and is running as i speak!

pressed record during a film last night (record til end of program) and is at 13 hours so far.

i've restarted the gui so hope useful logs not overwritten, but i reckon this happens every time anyway - attached recording service log...

is the start of the film (:o is an awful film...i know that now) - supposed to finish around 23:45 26/7..

There was a patch posted in one of these threads recently which addressed this.

hmm, i did search before posting and only saw this thread which seemed relevant..

i already have the patch installed mentioned in this thread (as i am in the uk and suffered with the dba scanning problem)..

if there's another post i'm missing, anyone know it?
thanks..

maybe not clear from above - this only happens when pressing record when livetv is playing back.

scheduled recordings work and end fine.

checked the gbpvrtsmon.ax file and has been updated (old one is renamed..)

To be honest, I'm not sure. If you bump thread in a few days, I'll try it here. (I'm too busy with the day job to try it now)

I just tested. Livetv, Ctrl-k, recording started fine and it stopped at the right time. Although I noticed that it doesn't add the default padding.
Probably normal, I wouldn't know because I never use it this way.

padding missing is prob normal. only me then.

is not a problem - i'll just record by the guide in future and not by the record button..

I get constant buffer recordings that fill up my 250g drive! Seems if I leave it on a TV channel, instead of just keeping the last hour of the show, it keeps recording until it locks up. Is there a patch for THIS?

Reproduce the problem, then post the logs and I'll take a look.
