Hi,
It seems like "remember last location" is not working anymore in the latest version. Can you fix this in the next version?

I have a lot of directories with DVD structure that I play from MovieWiz. When I play a DVD and click Stop, it always goes back to the main menu instead of the category list where I started playing it. Because of the "remember last location" problem, I have to go in MovieWiz and go through all the categories to find what I was just playing. Can this be fixed or is there any setting for that?

Regards,
Gert

Actually, the Remember Last Location setting refers to the directory for searching in the config program, not the category in the Plugin.

The behavior in the plugin probably has changed due to some performance tuning changes I've recently made.

Since I don't do DVD's, and when I play a regular MPG in MovieWiz and stop it, it returns to the category list and item I selected, I cannot recreate this problem.

Could you recreate, then zip and post the pvrx2.exe.log so I can take a look at what's happening in your situation.

Thanks...

Dan Soussi Wrote:Hi JW,

I'm have a desire to view my movies list by add date from within the plugin, akin to "Entry Add Date" in manager. The "What's New" category does not fulfill that need. Perhaps a specific "Entry Add Date" category (maybe optional) could be possible?

Love the plugin!
Dan, I've implemented this feature in the next version for ANY category by enabling the Blue remote button (or ctrl-B). If enabled in the config, this will toggle the list sort order between title and entry create date.

Java - one other suggestion although don't know if there's room in the interface - a line along the bottom for the coloured buttons saying what each one does now? As you had more features it's getting harder to remember eg red for scan for new entries, blue for toggling list order etc!

I agree, I find myself simply hitting the buttons til I find the one I want. The interface is a bit crowded, but I'll see if I can't add that somewhere.

Funnily enough I was just thinking about this the other day when I was updating my skin & I wondered if the best way so as it doesn't take up to much real estate would be a popup or maybe something similar to what I have done for the new version of MLPanel?
