The last one (NipTuck) was a fullTsMux recording.

I have reinstalled WindowsXP on my PVR and only installed a few codecs.

Now I can play the mpeg-4 TS file in TsConverter which I could not do before.
If I try to playback the same file in GBPVR with internalTsReader, GBPVR hangs!

logs included again.
Sorry, but all bets are off if you try playing 'full ts' recordings in GB-PVR. These full .ts files are only meant as debug files for me, not something a user would use (way too big for general use). These files contain all data transmitted, ie numerous video/radio/data services.

When you try these it'll attempt to play the first service it finds, which could a data service or something else non video related.

HI Sub... yes I know that about the FullTsMux. That is why I told you about the NipTuck recording since it was not a realistic sample recording.

All recordings I have been testing recently have been using the standard TsMus option, including the new one I added to the fileshare website, which is why I wanted you to test it.

Thanks.

I just gave the Olympics file a test, and played fine here.

That was a decoder that was installed with some of the Hauppauge software - I'm not sure which exactly.

I tried it with a couple of audio other decoders I happened to have on my machine. There were some audio decoders it didnt work with (giving just video only), but it did work with the 'HCW Layer II Audio Decoder', 'CyberLink Audio Decoder(TwinHan)', 'Elecard Audio Decoder'

Alright Sub.Thanks. I wont annoy you on this one anymore.

I am happy enough to be able to record and playback mpeg-4.

Watching in-progress recordings I can live without for the moment.

Cheers.
