In a future release I'll probably add support for toggling between the various audio streams.
The current mechanism for selecting the first audio stream is what is suggested in the DVB spec, and would usually carry the audio that the broadcaster would expect most people will end up listening to, so should be correct in the majority of the cases.

Thanks sub. I'm just wondering if with BBC HD it's somehow wrong, because I can't seem to get audio without the damn narrative.

Try this patch from another recent thread: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...ostcount=9
If that doesnt help, you might need to supply a small sample .ts file for me to try playing here.

Tried it and it didn't seem to make any difference unfortunately. For a sample file, can I just send a portion of any recorded .ts file that exhibits the problem?

sub, I've now got a 15Mb file cut from the start of a recorded program that demonstrates the issue. Is that too large a file?

No, thats not too large. Just let me know where I can download it from.

Thanks - just sent you a PM with the details.

Thanks I got the file.
I played it and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary - small camera pan over some countryside scene plus some background music. Is the problem obvious to you when you play that file? What happens exactly?

I get a woman's voice saying "...a patchwork of fields that meet the ocean" over the pan across the fields - i.e. the narrative audio stream.
