Getting black screen after few seconds return to PCH

I hate to ask your help but it's getting me crazy.
I installed yesterday GB-PVR on a W2k3 server.
All scripts are on C:\MVPMC.

When I started telnet.html it get the announcement of "Telnetd started on port 23............". Sofar so good.
When I try to start GB-PVR I'll get a black screen for several seconds and then it returned back to PCH.

My settings in config.xml are changed to the right MAC adress of PCH and also the right resolution of my plasmascreen (1920/1080).

The strange thing is that it worked in de very beginning! But I think after reboots or so I didn't work again.

Someone any suggestions / solutions?

A black screen with a 30 second wait going back to the NMT software is a sign that you are probably either having firewall issues or that you didn't autostart an MVP server.

The firewall issue I understand. But what do you mean by a not autostarted MVP. And how can I solve that?

It's in the config program of gbpvr. On one of the MISC tab

On the "MVP & NMT" tab number of servers to autostart = 1. Is that what you mean? On Misc2 Webserver en client is on.
Firewall is off.

Any other suggestions?

Compress and upload your logs and I will have a look.

I think the problem is Windows 2003.
When I would compress the log files I had to close GB-PVR. But it seems to be hang/locked up.
A reset did the trick. That means I could get to the main menu of GB-PVR. But when I would use Config for example to change the directories where my files are then by using the OK button to apply Restarting GB-PVR hangs up again.

Are there any other users who install GB-PVR on a Windows 2003 SP1 computer who had better experience?

Having your logs to look at, it is better than guessing at the problem at this point.

Some logfiles didn't come with it because they were "in use"??
I hope you can do something with these ones. If not I try to get the other logfiles you want.

The logs don't show you doing anything that should be a fatal error, try these things and let me know how it goes.

1. Install the skin folder with these instructions

2. Setup you config.xml file properly to match startmeup by changing 1920x768 to 1280x720

3. You are having trouble with config.exe but debugging that is out of my league.
