You could check to see if "fixedAspectRatio" is set to true in the video library skin xml. If you're using the latest CS3 it should be, but you could check:

Code:
<!-- filmstrip view -->
    <CompositeImage name="FilmstripSelectedPreview" size="48,48">
    <DrawCommonImage name="FilmstripViewPreviewBackground"/>
    <DrawImage filename="@previewImage" loc="0,0" size="100,100" [color=Red]fixedAspectRatio="true"[/color] align="Center"/>
</CompositeImage>

I did change the config.xml as follows:

Quote:<DrawImage filename="@previewImage" loc="0,0" size="100,100" fixedAspectRatio="true" align="Center"/>

But no change.

Sub, I am viewing my stuff using plasma tv - so difficult to enclose a screen shot (:-

Its just running on your PC though, so you can easily press Alt-PrintScreen, then past the picture in mspaint or similar.

Sub, the cover art looks fine on my PC - Hence enclosing a screen shot will not show anything!

I think this is what is happening....

My laptop is connected to my plasma thru the receiver.

Laptop DVI-D -> HDMI connector to my receiver.

The receiver is connected to my plasma tv via HDMI.

The receiver / TV scales the picture automatically on my plasma to 1366 x 768 native resolution.

Please let me know what u want me to try out?

As long as you have the TV shape set correctly in the config app, then it should be ok. It needs to be set to the shape of your plasma.

In my config, my TV shape was 16:9 and all the pictures look like a square (not rectangle). Just for the heck of it, I change the shape to 16:10 and letter box and has "no effect" on the plasma TV cover art.

Any other suggestions?

Can you post a photo taken from a digital camera or something so I can see what you mean.

I am fairly sure this won't help but who knows??

<DrawImage filename="@previewImage" loc="0,0" size="100,100" fixedAspectRatio="true" align="Center"/>

is in the devnz\gbpvr\skin2\whatever skin you are using\video library "skin xml" not the config.xml as you said you changed above.

Please see the images. The plasmaImg.jpg has the cover art like a square whereas the cover art in LaptopImg.jpg is a good rectangle.

Are your PC monitor and TV the same shape? ie both 16x9 or both 4x3?
