H PVR Setup? No video or audio

I just got a Hauppauge HD PVR, and I've been trying to get GBPVR to work with it.

I can get a very solid and sharp image (and recording) through ArcSoft programme, but I get nothing thruogh GBPVR, despite (as far as I can tell) having set it up properly.

I've got my Sky stb connected through the svideo port on the Hauppauge, and I'm running XP SP3.







Does anyone have any ideas of why it's not working?

If you do a recording in GB-PVR, does the file play in the ArcSoft TME application?

The files come out as 0 Kb.

I checked the gbpVRrecording log, and found this;

Can you run filtercheck.exe in your gbpvr directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log that gets created?

To be honest, I'm not really sure. I cant see an obvious cause in the logs.

the error I get in the recordings log, what does that refer to?

It looks like its failing to hook the device up for some reason, like its already in use somewhere else in the machine.
