As this is my first post, I'll say "hello" to everybody before I start, and a big thank you to the authors of this great piece of software. I've had various Hauppauge cards over the years and never had much luck with the WinTV software. I tried ShowShifter, but it is no longer supported and expires at the end of the trial period. I also tried Windows Media Center on one machine, but never got it to recognise the card. Then I came across GB-PVR, which is by far the best PVR software I have ever found. Yes, it takes a little tinkering to get it working well, but so far I've had flawless recordings from GB-PVR, and with a good muxer it takes only about 2% of the processor power. Excellent work, and once again thanks to all concerned.

Now, the problem! Nothing too serious, but when I select the Settings page the settings display flashes briefly then immediately returns to the main menu. Any ideas anyone?

This is a known bug in this release. If you create an empty 'skin' subdirectory in the gbpvr directory then it'll start working.

Thanks for the rapid response, guys. I created the "skin" directory and it now works fine. Funny, but I did do a search in the forum for this problem before posting here, but nothing came up. Ah well! . . .
