Kworld Plustv 120

Hi,
I have a Kworld Plustv 120 Card.
Have tried many suggestions ,but NO Live tv.
I can get the TV guide.
Also I have NO Dba Plugin.
Any help would be Appriciated.

Run the filtercheck.exe utility from the gbpvr directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log that gets created.

When you click the "go advanced" button below to reply, you can click the paperclip icon to attach a file.

The analog side of this device wont be usable, but the digital side will be usable for ATSC channels. Check if you have the following entry in your bda.ini file. If you dont, then add it:

[KWorld PlusTV HD PCI 120]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
FILTER_TUNER=Conexant 2388x BDA Tuner/Demod
FILTER_CAPTURE=Conexant 2388x AVStream TS Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

When you setup your capture source, it'll be device #1. Your HVR1600 is also device #1.

I guess I bought the wrong card,I heard a lot of good things about GB-Pvr
I would like to use analog if I could,as in canada,Digital will Not be here until 2012.
What would be the best card to use with Gb-Pvr?

You seem to have an HVR1600 card in your machine. This should be fine for GB-PVR, including analog.

Hi Sub,
I Had a 1600 before this one,maybe some drivers still around.
The bda.ini has what you suggested in it.
I have another Problem,not related to GB-PVR
The Software that comes with this card is TotalMedia .
I have a 22'' flat Screen,and the image is centered with
about 2" of black screen on each side.
I wll keep Working on GB-PVR,and maybe get another card.

Hi Sub,
It's the old guy again.
A friend loaned me this card to try out.
Msi Digi@nywhere A/D Ntsc/Atsc.
I enclosed the Filtercheck.log.
When you have time could you tell me if it would
work with a different Bda Setting.
Any help would be appriciated.
