Hi,

I've just started using GB-PVR v1.2.13 and i've come across 2 examples of how GB-PVR isn't using both HVR-2200 tuners properly.

1) One dvb-t tuner is capable of recording all dvb-t channels on 1 mux(network) yet GB-PVR uses both tuners to record 2 dvb-t channels from same mux.
2) When 1st tuner is recording analog GB-PVR wont use 2nd tuner to "watch" a dvb-t channel. GB-PVR however uses 2nd tuner to "record" a dvb-t channel.

p.s To get analog working on my HVR2200 i installed this patch and updated direct.ini file.

Like the majority of DVB apps, GB-PVR needs one tuner per channel you want to record.

There is another thread here discussing this. Due to poor device naming of the HVR2200 in the bda.ini and direct.ini file, GB-PVR is unaware that the analog and digital sides of this device are the same resource and unable to be used at the same time. It'll be fixed in the next release.

ok so no plans to have 1 tuner being able to record all channels from 1 mux?

Maybe in a future release. The primary I havnt given it much priority to date is because GB-PVR muxes to either .mpg/.dvr-ms/.ts files, and its only really practical to do this multi-recording using .ts file. The few apps that do this only do .ts files.

Yeah i'd really like the option of recording prime while watching dvb-t. Eargerly waiting next version release. Hopefully support will get added for recording multiple channels on one mux from one tuner. That would be a huge plus.
