New Skin: BlueMCE2

Can someone tell me how to install this? I only use MVP and am running the latest version of GBPVR

The instructions seem simple enough:

1 Download it: Attach:bluemce2-092.zip
2 Put it in the devnz\gbpvr\skins directory

I did that, of course I assumed #2 meant unzip into the skins directory. I did that and the bluemce2 folder was in the skins directory. I switched to that skin in config and as usually happens with me, is MVP never connects and GBPVR starts consuming huge amounts of CPU and memory.

I also notice inside the bluemce2 folder is another bluemce2.zip file, should I have done something with that. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

could you please post your log-files? the gbpvr.exe.log should be enough. it isn't your fault. just ignore the included zip-file, i forgot to take that out.

i don't have a mvp but i hope, i can help you out.

Here is the relevent piece I believe. It keeps looping through with the same error until I kill it.

strange, seems like gbpvr can't find the skin-images....it has to do with myvideos. could you try to deactivate the myvideos-plugin in the config-app? just for testing...

Interesting - my-video's wasn't even enabled in plug-in's. my-pictures was so I disabled that as well. Exact same error messages.

gbpvr tries to load everthing single dll in the plugin directory, even if they arent enabled, once they are loaded, it then decides which plugins to enable. thats why you're getting the error message, even thou its disabled.

Thanks for the tip. I removed a bunch of plug-ins and the skin worked. I guess this skin isn't working with the latest version of gbpvr/mvp/live tv combination either.

in the next days i will post a version, working with the new myxxx-plugins.

i just installed the newest version. i do love that skin but it crashes with xRecord. @dottore: you said you would add support for xRecord 2.0 soon? also for the new rssreader? than all my favorite plugins would work with your skin and I woul be a happy camper...

i hope, i find some time next week, so those plugins should work with the skin. in the meantime you could copy the xrecord, *plugin*...... folders from the Blue-skin to the bluemce2-skin-folder.
