According to the logs it looked like the EPG updated successful, pulling in listings from 2008-10-02T00:00:00 to 2008-10-10T23:59:59.

Maybe try searching your hard drive for extra unexpected copies of gbpvr.db3.

Ok, I'll look for that. What do I do with them if there are extra copies? How do I know if they're "unexpected" and if they're not supposed to be there, how do I keep them from cropping up?

Adaptec 3610 Tuner
Windows XP Pro, AMD 3200, ATI X800XT, 1GB PC3200 RAM, Abit N7 Motherboard, using on-board sound

jman, post your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log files and I'll take a look.

Will do.

Though it probably has no impact, I see that Ginsu and I use the same motherboard and ram, so perhaps there is an off chance that some drivers for the motherboard are causing problems, though the likelihood of this is slim to none.

That log shows a successful update. I had an issue very similar sometime back where my logs showed a successful update but the TV guide showed "No Show Details". It turned out to be a corrupted table in the database. I solved it by deleting the "Programme" table and recreating it. Backup your database, download a tool like SQL Spy, delete the "Programme" table from gbpvr.db3 and then run the following SQL command:
Code:
CREATE TABLE PROGRAMME (oid INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, name VARCHAR(50), sub_title VARCHAR(50), description VARCHAR(255), start_time DATETIME, end_time DATETIME, channel_oid INTEGER, unique_identifier VARCHAR(50), rating VARCHAR(16))

Then run an EPG update and see if it solves the issue.

Whurlston, thanks for the info. I think the app that you mean was SQLLiteSpy. At least that is what worked for me (SQLSpy is for SQL Server, I believe).

Anyway, I tried your trick to no avail. I too found that if I record a show on a channel, all of the EPG info shows up for that channel.

Another completely random (and perhaps stupid) idea: could it be the version of .Net 2? I have a bunch of SPs installed, so maybe there is something funky going on?

Edit: I just found that when I do a search, everything shows up. So it is only in the TV Guide. I have tried auto load, manually load, Schedule Direct, and DVB EPG, all to no avail. Could it be due to having multiple sources (birds 110 and 119) set up?
