Hi,
Just upgraded to 09108 and was playing around with the CDKscheduler via Xrecord. Placed all of my shows in (9 total) and exited the program. The first question is, the shows do not show up under "pending" or "recurring" in either Xrecord or the main Record tabs. They do show up in the scheduler tab of Xrecord. This makes me worry that the shows will not record.
Now for the error message. I was adjusting the last shows to record on a set channel/date/time and exited. Now when I click on X record and the Schedule tab, I get this:
Error: the 'date' attribute has an invalid value according to its data type. An error occurred at file://C:/Program Files/devnz/gbpvr/PriorityRecordings.xml, (118,27).
Help is Greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
E

To answer your scheduling question. The shows will only show up once the PostUpdateEPG.bat file is executed. This is typically done after an Episode Guide Update occurs (usually about 3am) in the morning. Or you may manually execute the PostUpdateEPG.bat file and the shows will be scheduled. They then should show up in the Pending section.

XRecord does not automatically run the PostUpdateEPG.bat file after adding shows to the Schedule function.

As for your Date problem, check the XML file out and make sure the date in questions is in YYYY-MM-DD format. Check at line 118 of the XML file. If the date isn't in this format, there will be problems, and the Schema won't let it pass validation.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought this might be the case originally and did manually update the EPG (forgot to state that in my original post). Was able to fix the error message by changing the xml file (thank you). Updated the EPG again and still no-show in the pending or recurring tabs. I double checked my settings for the shows and they all default to today's date for the start and end when I edit in Power mode and I changed them to unspecified at first without any effect and then changed two to start today and end on 12/25/2005. I re-updated the EPG and still do not see the listings.

If you manually run the Episode Guide update, I don't think it kicks off the PostUpdateEPG.bat file. It only does this when it does it's scheduled update of the Episode guide. Try running the PostUpdateEPG.bat. You should get a file called recording.log in your GBPVR directory. That will contain all the programs that were scheduled, any conflicts that occured, and any restrictions that weren't passed.

You can just use Windows Explorer and double click on the PostUpdateEPG.bat file to execute it.

Thanks a lot - that did it.
I still get that error message when I try to adjust the start and end dates within gb-pvr and decided to just edit the xml file.

Good glad you got it working. What version of Xrecord are you using. Jorm just released a new version today.
