I don't get it Beyond TV and Media Center work flawlessly. I am using a Geforce 8600 GTS and onboard sound w/ a Hauppauge PVR150.

If I change the channel it can take up to 10 seconds to go to the next channel.

Do you have live preview mode enabled in the config app? If not, then enable it.

Are you using a client or is it a local TV card? My client does the same thing - it takes about 10 seconds to change the channel, live preview mode or not, but changing on the server is almost instantaneous.

Live Preview mode is a direct path from the tuner to the display. The stream is not cached to the drive (no timeshifting). You can press pause at any time to start timeshift mode.

Not to hijack, but does live preview do anything when running in client mode?

The live preview mode setting is ignored when you running as a client. In this situation its always in timeshift mode.
