I tried again a few minutes ago and it let me download it this time.

To me it looks like its successfully finding all the channels during the scan. Is there some channels missing from the screenshot below?

Do you get any channels from this frequency during your scan attempts?

This is all I get from a scan of 10773:
T:10773,H,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2045~P:6306~V:5300~A:5301~L:eng~PMT:266~TXT:5303~PCR:5300~N:>ETV
T:10773,H,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2045~P:6315~V:5200~A:5201~L:eng~PMT:264~TXT:5203~PCR:5200~N:>BBC TES 3
T:10773,H,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2045~P:6331~V:5500~A:5501~L:eng~PMT:262~TXT:5503~PCR:5500~N:>BBC 1 NI

So, what does this mean? Is it a problem with the Hauppage HD S2, or the BDA drivers? More likely is there some setting in GBPVR that I have wrong, as other apps like DVBDream do find all the channels...
I have often wondered if the crashes during scans, and when tyring to view HD channels, could be caused by GBPVR not specifically listing the Hauppage Nova HD S2 in the list of devices - we have to choose Nova HVR-4000 instead...

Can you do a scan then post your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log? There is a couple of things I can check.

SNIP

Yes, according to the kingofsat website, you did get all the channels broadcast on the 10773 transponder.

I can see its finding all the channels, but seems to be having problems identifying the audio/video PIDs, so some channels are skipped.

Can you try going into the capture source settings, to where you selected the card, and hit 'advance BDA settings' button and try ticking the 'ignore PMT CRC errors during scan', then see if a scan has any more luck?

I do already have that option checked, it was one of the things suggested when I reported the crash-whilst-scanning problem.

I get the same results as pob, also using a hauppauge nova-hd-s2 card... it skips the same channels so I end up with them missing from the scan list.

I also dont get any s2 channels found in the scan - do you have any way around this pob/sub?

This is the one thing keeping me off trying gb-pvr seriously... until I know I can tune in all the channels (and most are there) I cant move over.

Thanks

Can you try temporarily increasing the <BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds> setting value in config.xml? Try setting it to 25.
