Hi All,

I've searched the forums for any mention of something similar but it seems that I'm the first to have this problem.

A couple of times recently I have got home to find my server awake and still recording a show that started several hours/days before hand and should have only lasted on hour or so.

Basically, it started the recording on time but failed to stop at the allotted time and carried on recording until the disk space ran out. Recordings on the other tuner seem unaffected.

I'm at work at the moment so I'll post my logs later on, just thought I'd see if anyone had an idea?

Thanks

Same problem here - have not had time to investigate but it always seem to be Ugly Betty or Desperate Housewives.

I have the same problem. Recordings never stop or are randomly stopped.

Can you two also post logs showing the problem? I want to see if there is something in common between them.

Desperate housewives recorded 18 minutes instead of an hour. Sherlock Holmes memoars recorded 10 hours instead of one or two hours. I don't remember exactly. Both were recorded manually with, I think 9000/12000 quality setting.

Actually, that wont be the same problem.

This problem being discussed was that the app doesnt stop recording - it keeps recording past the time it was due to stop. Yours is different in that its stopping pre-maturely. I cant see those specific recordings you mention in the supplied logs, but I see that you've been recording with a PVR USB2. There have been some users having problems with these devices doing this in the past. I'd try different versions of the PVR USB2 drivers, or possibly try a different USB port, or possibly look for updated motherboard chipset drivers.
