If I watch a recording while it is recording (ie. timeshifting) there are no problems, however if I wait until the recording has finished then there is no sound when I play it - I have to watch it in another app.

Unfortunately I'm not really sure when this started - it's been a good couple of weeks or more, but I have mucked around a little bit with renderers and mux's etc. I really struggle to understand it all!

I've attached the logs and would be very grateful if someone could take a look for me.

Yes, I guess that was going to be the first suggestion. I've got a feeling it won't help, but I will try it. Ta.

(The missus and I have our first baby due in about a month, so I've not been able to find the time to troubleshoot this very much.. and it's going to get worse!)

ok, i just tried a few, but no change. It works fine when timeshifting, but if i watch the program after it's finished recording - no sound.

Might want to look at changing your renderer as well from Default WaveOut Device.

And there's an Audio decoder that sub normally recommends: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPA_Decoder.htm

Media player didn't work either. I installed the MPA decoder and it's working. I had seen this before, and am slowing starting to understand things. Thanks heaps for the support, guys.
