manul vs auto record differences?

I have 2 2250 cards all recording only analog.
If I set 4 channels to record manually, I get video for all 4 recordings.

If I set all 4 to record automatically, like 30 min later, then one channel only gives me black or a blue screen. No video.

Is this a known issue? new cards?

I'm not aware of any known issues with this. If you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs, and details of which recording has problems, then I'll see if anything stands out in the logs.

set 4 shows to record at 7:30
one was cops, it showed as set to record
the other 3 did record.
At 7:31 I canceled all the recordings.
This time, cops did not show in the list of recorded shows. the other 3 did and recorded fine.

Sorry, I dont know. I cant see a clear cause in the logs. I can see one of the devices failing to start, but there is no good clues why.

is there something else I can try. is there a debug version of the software to load to get better logs?

If I had more time available, and my build was still compatible with 1.2.13, I'd normally make you up a patch to collect some more info. Unfortunately I'm pretty snowed under with work at the moment, and my build is no longer compatible with 1.2.13 so I'm not able to supply patches.
