Ron22,
As I said in my post - excellent plugin.      [Image: biggrin.gif]
Just to re-iterate jorm, who cares if there are minor bugs, we'll just sort them out through this forum.

Jorm,

In this latest version is Ctrl-O turned off? It doesn't seem to be working on my keyboard.

hit stop instead. Users of the 45 button remote do not have a ctrl-o so I had to switch buttons.

Jorm,

Does that translate to something on the keyboard?

Thanks,

Stop should map to Control-S on the keyboard.

1st off.... thanks to all of those who contribute to creating this great plugin. I'm definitely enjoying xrecord.

I have just purchased videoredo and like the software. I have comskip creating the *.vprj file. Is there a way to have that *.vprj file transfered over with the other pertinent files when archiving? I would find this extremely useful!

I know at one point you mentioned having a feature within xrecord to automatically run videoredo and strip the commercials at the users choosing. Just out of curiosity is that something that will be coming down the pipeline any time soon? No hurry.... I will wait patiently if it is something that you think will happen sometime down the road.

Thank you.

I just made the modification. I am considering doing a release in a few hours.

It would be very easy to write. Just need to figure out the best way to do it. At first I was thinking about having a utility that runs every night and would run through looking for .vprj files. If it found one it would process it and delete it afterwards. It would take a xml file that would tell it which ones to take.

Another solution is to have a button in xrecord that would spawn a low priority process to do the cut. storing the output in the video directory.

The later seems to be the safest but requires the manual step. Which do you prefer?

I like the later because of the safety and just having more control over the process. I'm sure there will be times when I or my wife will watch a program, be happy with the comskip results, want to save the program, select the manual option of queuing videoredo to be run that night and then archive it.

There are times that comskip seems to be spot on and other times that it isn't. So there are times that I run videoredo and scan quickly and make necessary adjustments.

I agree. So the first step will be to add the administration in xrecord. So you can cut commercials. Probably in the popup next to archive. It will add it to a text file that a backend executable will read and start cutting the commercials off. I will then copy it and the exported data over to the archive folder.

Then the user can delete the original.

Where did the transcode option go?

I was using an older version of XRecord to transcode AVI files before my upgrade to the latest GB-PVR. I've had audio/video sync problems with that version, so I thought that I'd go back to transcoding in XRecord, but I don't see an option to do that anymore. Is it gone?
