Hi All,
I've been confused for some time now and I think I finally need some help. I'm not sure if these problems are related and I've searched and searched and can't seem to find the answer so here goes....

My setup
---------
GB-PVR 1.3.7 (setup to use TS Mux with multi-recording enabled)
Windows media center 2005
HD-PVR 1600 using both ATSC and Analog

My Concerns
------------
When I open GB-PVR Mux Checker, no mux is displayed. If I setup a recording in TV Listings, it records and plays back just fine but it will only let me do one recording at a time. Playback seems to work fine in both SD and HD. I setup the option to convert TS to MPEG but that seems to fail. I checked out Direct Show Filter Manager and Filmerit and they seem to find multiple muxers and I re-registered a few to no change in problems. What else should I check/do?

Also, Are these problems even related? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How many capture sources do you have enabled? I am guessing that becuase you have enabled the multirecord that your digital capture source is up and running. The recordings that you have tested are definately from the digital source?

Forget Mux Checker for the digital side. That is used for analog devices and does not report the GBPVR mux filters (which will be on the machine with Mux Checker anyway) or the DVRMS mux with is on any XP or newer machine.

Multi-Record will only record from multiple digital streams on the same channel. So if you have CBS on channel 72 and you have NBC and ABC on channel 80, you could multi-record NBC and ABC but not NBC and CBS. This is more beneficial to QAM/DVB users than it is to ATSC users.

If you are sure that it should be multi-recording, zip and post the logs after scheduling two simultaneous recordings.

You should be able to record 1 analog and 1 digital simultaneously with no trouble. This is different from "Multi-record".

Ah, ok. I think i have a major oversight here. I was thinking multiple main channels and not sub-channels. I was also thinking it could do multiple analog as well (read right over "digital"). Our Clear channel digital are a single network per channel/sub-channel. Normally it's HD on .1, weather on .2, and SD on .3 with the exception of the public broadcast. This would come in handy during college hoops though as they change up the programming a bit.

I pretty sure it'll work but I'll make sure it does tonight. Thanks for the quick response!!!
