The CD Player plugin is bundled with the Music Plugin....it might become integrated with the Music plugin some day. But for now it is a separate plugin.

I've installed the plugin and the music scanner has found my music but no tracks are listed in the plugin. How to debug? What logs / info do you need?

The MusicScanner starts when the plugin starts. The first time it may take a while before the Music Scanner has scanned the music directories and read all the tags and updated the database.
But after that the songs should show in all views.

The logs that might be interesting if something has gone wrong is the MusciScanner log and the PVRX2.exe log.

I only have 9gb of music on my test machine. I left it running a while and it seemed to find all the tracks and tags. Looked in the music.db3 file using SQLSpy and it looked populated as I would expect it to be.

I can see that webcamplugin2 causes an error/crash in the pvrx2 logs

Everything seems to have gone fine during the scan.

But there are 2 lines in the pvrx2 log that confuses me, connection to the database seems to fail. Why, I don't know?

My connection string looks tha same.....and the plugin connects.
My System.Data.SQLite.dll is version 1.0.30.1

Two backslashes is normally OK, Windows/ .NET treats it as one.

I noticed dual \\ in my pvrx2,exe log.....updated previous post when I saw that.

In don't think that is important.
The latest version of MusicScanner is v0.34 and the MusicScanner creates the database and updates an old databases if it already exists. You can at anytime delete the database and start the MusicScanner again and the database will be recreated.
Playlist will disappear if the database is deleted.

I updated the ZIP on the wiki.

CD Player is temporarily removed from the ZIP, because if the is no CD in the tray, a bug will cause Music plugin to crash PVRX2. If there is a CD in the tray, everything seems to work ok.

Also noticed that the Tag Edit function has stopped working in the latest versions

Just to follow up on this. I've installed the plugin on my another test system and my live HTPC and both of them install and are working fine. Must have been something different with my work laptop (wouldn't be the first time ).
