Video stuttering

Well after over 300+ views on my 2 Asus PE9400 threads with no solution, I gave up on that card and reinserted my PVR150. Now with the current 10307 gbpvr the live video plays 4 seconds, freezes 1 second over and over again. I even dumped MCE 2005 and went with XP Pro hoping that that would cure it. I had such high hopes for gbpvr. the configuration is at dotnet 2 sp2 verified.

Can you post the logs showing the current problem?

which ones...there are quite a few logs

Most likely the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log files.

On the 'misc' tab of the config app, set the deinterlacing back to 'encoder passthrough'. If it doesnt help, repost those logs.

Well I did that and had audio but no video. So I installed ffdshow and set it to use "raw filter" . Its works ok until I change channels. Then the 1 second pauses start. I shut it down and it works ok upon restarting until I change channels.

When you say Live Video, I have to assume you mean LiveTV. Try the patch located here - fixed my issues that sounded very much like yours:

Experiment with LiveTV preDelay settings, 500-1000 should work fine.
