I'm running 1.3.7 and get crashes in psipaser.ax 4 seconds after tunning to the first live channel.

PVRX2 closes, the recording service continues.

Also gota a psiparser.ax crash in config while scanning for channels.

Crashes occur with both my MSI Mega SKy 580 DVB-T USB dongle and my Pinncale Dual DVBT PCI Card.

Problem not seen in 1.2.13.

Logs does not contain eny error messages.

Any suggestions?

I'm trying to move to 1.3.7 and see the same things:
Running Media Center 2005 edition, Blue skin. 1.2.13 works great, DVB-S Twinhan 1020a and HVR-1600 set for QAM and analog.

In PVRX2.exe, I crash in psipaser.ax 4 seconds after tuning to the first live channel. The Windows crash error msg appears, video appears correctly behind it, the GBPVR no signal bars appear (with video still appearing correctly behind it). Recording service continues, and if status is displayed, it shows it's running live TV. This happens in both QAM and DVB-S, but not analog.

In config, it's more intermittent. I've gotten some successful scans of both QAM and DVB-S and some crashes. Some config crashes do not give the Windows error msg window - it crashes straight to the desktop.

I don't see much in the logs, but here are some samples, 2 crashes from live and one from config.

When I'm back in New Zealand, I'll probably need to get you to supply a 250MB or so "Full TS" recording of one of these frequencies, so that I can try running it up in the debugger.

I'll happily supply anything that will help. I'll see if I can research what I need to capture the sample.

I presume you will be able to use a "Full TS" recording from my working 1.2.13 installation as the 1.3.7 install won't work.

BTW, what makes you suspect the TS stream itself and not some peculiarity or problem in my system? I'm having the same problem in both QAM on cable and in the DVB-S stream.

You can either do it with a previous version of GB-PVR, or another app entirely (like TSReader etc).

I know my TSReader supports WDM drivers for my Twinhan 1020a, but as far as I know, it doesn't support the BDA drivers. Is is possible to have both WDM and BDA installed at the same time or do they conflict?

I'm getting a crash in psiparser.ax also in 1.3.7

Using a NOVA-DT in the UK with BDA drivers and it happens each time I turn to certain channels - for example bid-up.tv.

I have attached the log files created to see if they help.

Cheers
