"Unable to start BDA device"

[SUPERMAN40]

My GB-PVR 1.3.7 was working fine, now I can not see any stations. When I go to config and try to do a scan I get the "unable to start BDA device"

I am using hdhomerun and with the homerun config I get many stations and can see them with VLC

Something got screwed up and I can not find the problem.

Try running ReRegisterFilters.bat

I ran the ReRegisterFilters.bat and it fixed the problem. Now is running without a problem. Did I do something that caused this problem? Do I need to run this bat file once a week or at some schedule? How can I prevent this problem from coming back?

It'd usually have registered all of these during the install. You'd get this same problem if you hadnt installed the required vcredist_x86 before installing GB-PVR.
