I told my wife off for not deleting videos in the video library after watching them. I then ate humble pie once I realised that with the slick skin there is no delete option along with the other stuff that was down the left hand side.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to delete that I can use instead or will I have to go back to a non-slick skin environment?

Other than that it looks/feels great.

This is a major bummer for me as well - have to go back to the other skin for this reason. If this is an easy addition (maybe via a popup menu like the recordings?) - it would be much appreciated for the next build.

Great release - thanks!

Yeah, I love the look & video data, but miss being able to transcode from ts to mpg for dvd burning.

I love the new Slick skin, especially with the new show synopsis showing (if available) on the right side. That's great, and is not available using the standard (blue) skin. However, I really miss the ability to delete - it would be so wonderful to have the delete key operate this way.

I can go back to the blue skin, but then I lose that great new synopsis on the side. I'm not about to keep bouncing back and forth between two skins to see the synopsis, then delete when I'm done, so I guess I'll have to go back to blue and wish for the day when someone can add deleting to the Slick Video Library :-D

I had similar thoughts so set about making a few changes myself....I have a very, very rough library skin (i use it with the community skin) that displays the full synopsis as well as all the buttons. It's functional enough but has been designed to optimise the layout without cover art (as i don't have any!) so i have no idea how or where it's likely to show the images if you use them but i can always tweak that if you guys can give me some feedback.

If i get time i'll post the file later tonight

CommunitySkin- Can you post it here and I'll take a look at it? This is on my todo list and maybe we can work something suitable out of it.

Hi Guys,

Sorry this is a bit late. Been busy the last couple of days. :o

I use this with the community skin so extract skin.xml from the archive and copy to to: \devnz\gbpvr\skin2\Community3\video library\

No reason it shouldn't work with other skins tho (he says hopefully). As i say it's very rough and i have no idea where cover art will appear but it might provide a starting point for someone who actually knows about this stuff!! Big Grin

Cheers
