DBox Recorder Plugin Trouble

Hi There

New to this forum. I am currently a media portal user but would like to switch to gbpvr so that I can use the DBox Recorder Plugin.

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of gbpvr.

Downloaded the dboxrecorder.dll.

Placed this dll in C:\ProgramFiles\devnz\gbpvr\plugins.

When i then go into config and select "Capture Sources" "Add". There is no option to select Dbox Recorder Plugin. I have tried this on 2 PC's and will not show up on either. I have also tried an older version of gbpvr with the same results.

Somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong!

Ok, so I managed to get the plugin to be recognised by placing it here instead:

C:\ProgramFiles\devnz\gbpvr\plugins\dboxrecorder.

I can now successfully get me channel list from the box, and have successfully mapped 2 channels to test.

Channel switching is working and recording is working fine, however I am unable to watch "Live TV". There is simply a blank screen for around 10 seconds and then I am dumped backed out to the main menu.

I have fddshow installed to decode mpeg.

Any ideas?

make sure that 'Use live preview mode' is not checked on the 'misc' tab page of the config application.
