Yep. Thanks for explaining it. I went through the ini files, found my transmitter and added another copy of the BBC mux to the bottom of the list and it found all the channels this time.

A bit more info. On the first scan when starting with a clean sheet (no capture sources) it seems to find the first mux ok, scan it and find the channels fine. This is invariably the main BBC mux in the UK, with BBC1, BBC2 etc.

If you then do a rescan with capture sources existing in your list (if you wanted to add UKTV History for instance, which only trasmits during the day) it doesnt properly scan the first mux in the list. It says its checking it instead of scanning. Presumably this isnt ideal behaviour.

Cheers

Had the same tuning difficulty with my Nova T 500, the workaround solved the problem.

I've never been able to work around this problem other than to install 1.2.13, do a scan, then install 1.3.7 over the top. I notice nobody actually posted any logs for this though...

Was it the first frequencies channels missing for you?

Yep - the scan process reported "Checking 1 of 6" but returned stv and stv (audio#2) in the found list (stv is on mux 3 of 6) then "Scanning 2 of 6" and so on - seems to have found all channels on 2-6 but none from 1.

Can you see if the attached patch resolves the issue?

It "Checked" 1, then "Scanned" 1 through 6 at + and -166KHz but Signal strength and Quality were both 0 so "No channels found..." dialog.

FYI I tried the second tuner and it seemed to behave exactly the same as before I applied the patch.

Are you saying you got no channels found at all???

Can you reboot, recheck, and then post the logs if it still doesnt find anything.

After the reboot...
I scanned tuner 1 and since there was no scan cache info it started with initializing, then it scanned all muxes from 1 thru 6 and found all the channels - it now definitely finds the channels from mux 1.

I scanned tuner 2 and it still behaves like before the patch - does not find any mux 1 channels.
